So long, football.

First of all, congrats to the New Orleans Saints organization and the fans. You all had a helluva year.
Second, I’d like to congratulate the Indianapolis Colts but it tastes bitter, like Castor Oil. How do you stop playing half way through the second quarter? You know what, that’s neither here nor there. *starts to sweat*
These two were definitely the best teams in the NFL this season and I am not upset at all with this game. It is no doubt the best one sing New England beat my Carolina Panthers in 2004. Ya’ll remember that, it was the year of Nipplegate. *starts to shake*
Anyway, this Super Bowl marks the end of my favorite time of year, football season. So let’s all bow our heads and have a moment of silence for the 2009-10 season. It will be missed.
Now that it’s over, football fans everywhere, just like me, have started the six-month long countdown to the 2010-11 season. The preseason starts in August and I, for one, can not wait. It’s like my body is going through withdrawals already. You can’t just expect me to quit cold turkey. *scratches*
The sad thing is on Sundays when it’s not football season, I am forced to sit around and examine my life and I gotta tell ya, it’s depressing. I need football in my life. Why think about the goals I haven’t set when I can see dudes knock the wind out of each other in pursuit of the pigskin? Why think about the direction my life has taken when I can look at muscular men in tight pants? Why be concerned with where my life is going when I can watch football for eight hours on a Sunday? *tear*
Those were the days. I could put on dinner at the start of the game, check it at commercials and be eating by half time of the first game. How will I know when to check my food now? Lifetime doesn’t have TV timeouts and movies don’t have commercials. All my food is going to burn. *sniffles*
What am I going to do? Now that football season is over, *tear* I have nothing. The NBA has become boring to watch. MLB is only exciting if you are watching the game in person. Neither of those sports do it for me. What will I do on Sundays now? I’ll be forced to go places and do things. It’s all too much! *sobbing and dry heaving*
This is going to be a long six months. Send. Help.

I need football. I need it like a baby needs it’s bottle. I need it like Kenneth Lay needed a defibrillator. I need it like the *0s needed clothing stylists! I just need it.
